27-30th , 2007 - Mid-Week Fishing Report

Fishing is improving in terms of numbers as water levels continue to drop. In only 3½ days, a total of 1.869 fish were landed by 16 anglers, 66 of which were in the 10 - 16 lbs. class, 6 were in the 17 – 19 lbs. class, 1 was 21 lbs. and 1 was 22 lbs.

Fishing is good in all secluded headwaters (low fishing pressure area) except past the water falls of the Unini river where rain in the beginning of the week raised water levels way into the jungle. (We may be moving our Floating Cabins IV and Amazon Angel out of these waters). In only 3½ days, a total of 4.966 fish were landed by 49 anglers, 269 of which were in the 10 - 16 lbs. class, 20 were in the 17 – 19 lbs. class, 1 were 20 lbs., 2 were 21 lbs., and 1 was 22 lbs.

Fishing is improving in terms of numbers as water levels continue to drop. In only 3½ days, a total of 6.783 fish were landed by 36 anglers, 186 of which were in the 10 - 16 lbs. class 17 were in the 17 – 19 lbs. class, 2 were 20 lbs., 1 was 21 lbs., 2 were 23 lbs. and 1 was 24 lbs.

In only 3½ days, a total of 2033 fish were landed
by 31 anglers, 138 of which were in the 10 - 16 lbs.
class 14 were in the 17 – 19 lbs. class, 1 was
20 lbs. and 1 was 21 lbs.
